If you judge it by the three-episode rule, you'll know whether a new project is good or not within the first three episodes.
The phrase "based on the story outline left behind by Akira Toriyama" puts my mind at ease a little. At least the direction was set by Akira Toriyama.
I recommend re-watching the original Dragon Ball. The charm of Akira Toriyama's original work is something that any sequel finds hard to replicate.
When I was a kid, the first thing I did after getting home from school was turn on the TV to watch DB. If the new work can bring back that feeling, it would be perfect.
My anime-watching diary will definitely record this historic moment. The new DB project is worth looking forward to.
DB was my childhood! But I'm really worried now that Akira Toriyama is gone. The quality of "Super" has already been up and down...
As a Gundam fan, I can understand this feeling. Gundam works after Yoshiyuki Tomino have each had their own controversies.
It would be great if the new project had that "food" element. The food scenes drawn by Akira Toriyama have always been underrated.
