Phat is actually releasing a 1/3 scale Hachiroku bunny girl figure; the size is just mind-blowing...
I was scrolling through a figure website today and was truly stunned by Phat! Company. I never expected that so long after the game developer Lose announced its dissolution, Hachiroku, the soul of Rail Romanesque (Maitetsu), would make a comeback in such a massive 1/3 scale.
The most eye-catching thing about this Hachiroku figure is definitely its 1/3 scale. For standard figures, 1/4 is already quite substantial, but at 1/3, this is an ultimate experience that magnifies both her youthful innocence and her charm. The sculptor, Hiroyuki Yamaguchi, has captured the body curves perfectly; even though she is wearing a mature-looking white bunny suit, that unique sense of youthfulness is still well-preserved. The hidden features and the interchangeable blushing face expression mentioned by the official site—gentlemen who know, know exactly what this implies. This kind of design makes it really hard to resist the temptation to pre-order.
Looking at the price of 34,800 yen, considering the current exchange rate and the 1/3 scale, I personally think it's very competitive. Although the release date is set for April of next year, that means waiting for nearly a year!
