April New Anime First Episode Impressions Part 2!
Purely personal reviews, there are really so many great shows this season!
1. Dr. Stone Final Season ⭐9
More budget than the last season, the characters look better, the OP/ED are great, solid.
2. Yomi no Tsugai ⭐9
The plot is moving so fast! My jaw dropped again and again, a must-watch.
3. Nihon Sangoku ⭐9
Watched another episode of this "Taiga drama," everything is good, the direction is unique, looks like it will be focused on strategy/intellectual battles later?
4. Maid Sweets ⭐5
Well-produced, but it feels a bit too catered to a foreign audience. The food eaten in the first episode was just basic stuff, not very appealing.
5. Kirio Fan Club ⭐4
The opening is very stylish, but half the episode was a bit too abstract. The theme of "I like you but it has nothing to do with you" could have been written better.
6. Shunkashuutou Daikousha ⭐4
Beautiful art style, interesting setting, and good production, but why is it such a bitter, tear-jerking story...
7. Witch Hat Atelier ⭐7
The smell of money! Everything is great, though it's not really my cup of tea, I'll keep watching.
8. Akane-banashi ⭐10
Amazing! A perfect all-rounder! Great pacing! So hype! Even the first episode gave me that "WAKUWAKU" (excitement) feeling.
9. Magical Sisters Lulu and Lily ⭐8
My favorite magical girls are back! Every frame is so beautiful! It's all callbacks and tributes!
10. That JK Disciplinary Committee Member One ⭐3
The setting and tropes feel too derivative. This kind of middle school bickering couple story really struggles to move me.
