Does anyone else feel like there are too many isekai anime lately?
Seriously,
Looking back at the past few seasons,
isekai anime are just coming out one after another.
Although some are genuinely good,
most of them feel like the same old formula:
reincarnation, overpowered protagonists, harems.
The plots are all pretty much the same.
I used to watch every single one,
but now I get a bit wary whenever I see the word "isekai".
I have to search for a long time just to find something worth watching.
However, some from last season were actually quite impressive,
like the ones with plot twists or deep characters.
What do you all think?
Or am I just being too demanding,
and isekai anime are meant to just be mindless fun?
