Gundam Modification and Painting Showcase — MG Barbatos Full Paint
A project that took me three months to complete! MG Barbatos full paint modification.
Process:
1. Sanding and seam line removal for all parts
2. Primer → Base coat
3. Main color uses Gaia Color military grey
4. Gradient painting technique to create a metallic texture
5. Oil weathering
6. Matte topcoat
The most difficult part was the metallic finish on the inner frame; it took three attempts before I was satisfied. Used over 50 different paint colors.
