Gundam Custom Build Exhibition—Sharing my exhibition experience

Last week, I took my custom Gundam to participate in a local model exhibition! I was super nervous as it was my first time exhibiting. The piece is a fully painted custom version of the MG Freedom Gundam, featuring added LED lighting and scratch-built weapons. The judges gave some pretty good feedback; although I didn't win an award, I had a great time throughout the process. What left the deepest impression was meeting so many fellow enthusiasts, and we exchanged custom building techniques with each other. Although the model building community in Hong Kong is small, it is very passionate. Has anyone else participated in a model exhibition? Share your experiences!

The lighting effect of the modified LED must look stunning in photos. I suggest taking some photos of the effect in a dark room as well.

The atmosphere at a model exhibition is very different from an anime convention. Everyone is focused on the works and exchanging techniques with each other. This kind of community is very precious.

Congratulations on exhibiting! Being able to showcase your work for the first time is already a huge achievement. Modifying an MG Freedom with LEDs is no easy task.
