Brave Bang Bravern! takes place in a near-future world where militaries across the globe deploy humanoid armored weapons called "Titanostriders" — or "TS" for short — as frontline combat units. When forces from multiple nations gather on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, two soldiers find themselves thrown together by fate: Isami Ao, a member of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and Lewis Smith, a United States Marine. Their encounter during joint operations takes a dire turn when an unidentified enemy launches a sudden and overwhelming assault, throwing their units into complete chaos. Stranded on a battlefield that has become a desperate fight for survival, both Isami Ao and Lewis Smith must dig deep and summon every last bit of courage they possess — not only to stay alive, but to protect the comrades fighting alongside them.
