Harmony of Mille-Feuille

Harmony of Mille-Feuille is a modern slice-of-life drama anime blending music, art, and heartfelt shoujo storytelling, produced by Jumondou. Based on an original project by Pony Canyon × Taku Yamanaka, the series is helmed by general director Takuya Sato and series director Kiyoto Nakajima, with Taku Yamanaka serving as series composer. Featuring a cast led by Uta Komaki, Musubu Mayumori, Yako Kumai, Airi Kojou, Uruu Miyazaki, and Rei Konoe, this TV anime offers a sensitive and artistic portrait of contemporary young women.

Harmony of Mille-Feuille centers on Uta Komaki, a first-year high school student who describes herself as someone with plenty of weaknesses—yet harbors a genuine, unwavering love for singing. Hoping to experience a normal, fulfilling youth, she musters the courage to audition for the light music club as part of her fresh high school start, only for her shy and timid nature to get the better of her. Feeling defeated, Uta stumbles upon a world she never knew existed: a cappella, a form of music built entirely from the human voice alone. There, she crosses paths with a group of girls whose youths are far from perfect, bound together by nothing more than the harmonies they create. The story explores what it means to find your place and your voice—even when you don't shine the brightest.
