ISLAND

ISLAND is a TV anime adaptation of the visual novel by FrontWing, produced by feel. and directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi. Set on a remote island cut off from the outside world, the story follows Setsuna Sanzenkai as he encounters three mysterious girls—Rinne Ohara, Sara Garandou, and Karen Kurutsu—each bound by their own secrets. Urashima is a remote island, cut off from the rest of the world and steeped in its own quiet rhythms. Life there once flowed peacefully, but five years ago, a string of tragedies struck the island's three most powerful families, sowing seeds of deep mistrust among the islanders. Since then, all ties with the mainland have been severed, and the island has been slowly fading. According to old legend, the salvation of Urashima rests with three young women — Rinne Ohara, Sara Garandou, and Karen Kurutsu — each a daughter of one of the great families. Yet all three are caught between duty and desire, shackled by customs passed down through generations. Into this isolated world arrives a lone stranger, washed ashore with no warning. He claims to have traveled from the future, carrying knowledge of what lies ahead for the island. Armed with nothing but his conviction, he sets out on a solitary mission — to rewrite a fate that may already be sealed.
