Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus is a modern slice-of-life anime blending romance, mystery, and supernatural drama, adapted from the light novel series by Hajime Kamoshida. Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus picks up where the previous theatrical film left off. Sakuta Azusagawa, who once found himself entangled in the mysterious phenomenon known as Puberty Syndrome alongside a series of girls, has now graduated high school and stepped into a new chapter of his life as a university student. He and his girlfriend, the nationally acclaimed actress Mai Sakurajima, attend the same university near Kanazawa-hakkei, navigating this fresh start together. Yet beyond the campus, Sakuta crosses paths with a girl dressed in an out-of-season miniskirt Santa outfit—an encounter that hints at something far from ordinary. Prophetic dreams, an anonymous singer making waves online, and poltergeist activity stirring up social media buzz… Once again, inexplicable phenomena begin to swirl around girls with unsettled hearts. For Sakuta, it seems adolescence is far from over.
