The 20th episode "The Church Girl and the Miller's Son" in "Spice and Wolf Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf" has released preview scene clips and story outline!
The popular light novel 'Spice and Wolf', published by KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko, celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2021 and received the honor of the Silver Award in the 12th Dengeki Novel Prize.
Along with this important milestone, the brand new TV anime 'Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf' also began broadcasting on channels including Teletext from April 1, 2024 (Monday) at 25:30.
This new chapter, 'Lore of the Pagan Gods', will commence with episode 20 on August 19 (Monday) at 25:30, and the exciting plot of episode 20, 'The Church Girl and the Mill Boy', has already been revealed, making fans unable to contain their anticipation.
In the story, the protagonists Lawrence and Holo come to the church in the small village of Tereo, not far from Enberg, in search of the legend of Holo's hometown Joiz, and there they meet a boy named Evan and a girl named Elsa.
However, when they try to ask Elsa about the monk, they are denied contact at the door, making one wonder how the story will progress.
It is worth mentioning that the broadcast schedule for this work is as follows: Teletext, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi all begin broadcasting on April 1 (Monday) at 25:30; BS Teleto begins broadcasting from April 2 (Tuesday) at 24:30; and AT-X begins broadcasting from April 3 (Wednesday) at 22:00.
Additionally, the ABEMA platform will begin advance streaming service from April 1 (Monday) at 26:00, while other platforms are scheduled to begin broadcasting sequentially from April 4 (Thursday) at 26:00.
Speaking of this work's story, the traveling merchant Craft Lawrence roams from town to town in his wagon selling goods, until he meets a beautiful girl named Holo, who has wolf ears and a wolf tail and calls herself the 'Wise Wolf', the incarnation of the harvest wolf.
When Lawrence learns that Holo wishes to return to her distant northern homeland, the Joiz Forest, he decides to take her along on a northbound commercial journey, but this journey is filled with unknown wonders and challenges.
