Akatsuki serves as the head clerk of 'Tenjin-ya,' a prestigious inn for supernatural beings, and hails from the Earth Spider lineage. Though his blunt speech and short temper may give off an intimidating first impression, beneath that rough exterior lies an exceptionally dedicated and responsible young professional. As the youngest individual to hold a position within the inn's core management, he commands respect through sheer competence and unwavering loyalty to the proprietor. Off duty, he showers his younger sister Suzuran with affection, revealing a surprisingly tender side. While he initially regarded Aoi—a human girl bound to Tenjin-ya by her grandfather's debt—with suspicion and hostility, their shared experiences gradually brought out his naturally caring and dependable nature.
