Hanatora serves as the great land deity of Kyoto in Sengoku Youko, holding a place among the Four Sacred beneath the Mountain God. She typically appears before others in the form of a golden-haired woman, carrying a profound affection for humanity and sharing heartfelt bonds with both Ashikaga Yoshiteru and Hyodo Shinsuke. Capable of manifesting multiple copies of herself, she takes on the role of guiding protagonists Senya and Mizuki through their growth across the story. Though her conduct is carefree and her fondness for pranks well known, the moment her territory or companions face danger, the true dignity and unwavering integrity befitting a deity shine through without restraint.
