Hyakkimaru

Before Hyakkimaru ever drew his first breath, fate had already stripped him bare. His father, Lord Daigo, struck a forbidden pact with forty-eight demons, sacrificing his newborn son's organs in exchange for power and prosperity. Cast aside as little more than a living shell, the infant was rescued by the physician Jukai, who crafted him a body of prosthetics and honed him into a formidable warrior. Driven by an unbreakable will, Hyakkimaru sets forth on a perilous quest alongside the young thief Dororo, reclaiming each stolen sense one slain demon at a time.
