Nuinokata

Nuinokata, wife of Daigo Kagemitsu, is the birth mother of both Hyakkimaru and Tahomaru. The knowledge that her husband sacrificed their firstborn son to demonic forces left her carrying an unbearable burden of guilt for years. Upon learning that Hyakkimaru had miraculously survived, she cast aside her noble status and set forth on a path of atonement, hoping that a mother's love could mend the hatred festering within him. In her final moments, she chose to remain by her child's side amid the consuming flames, completing her ultimate act of redemption through self-sacrifice.
