Kaede Hanekawa

Kaede Hanekawa is a classmate of protagonist Makoto Hanaoka, and the two forged a close bond through their school's cultural festival activities. Known for her cheerful disposition and broad-minded nature, she demonstrates genuine understanding and respect toward Makoto's feminine style and interests. Throughout the story, Kaede consistently serves as a supportive figure—using her sharp observational skills to detect friction among peers and stepping in to help Makoto mend relationships with Ai Hayase and others, making her one of the most trusted friends Makoto has on campus.
