Kosame Isshiki

Kosame Isshiki is a swordsman from the Meiji period who once served as the acting instructor of the Hangetsu Ittō-ryū dojo. After an unexpected turn of events strands him and Tenka on American soil, the two enter a cross-continental race to earn enough money for their journey home. Though naturally cautious and easily frightened, Kosame is remarkably capable when it comes to household chores and daily living. A deep psychological wound had long prevented him from drawing his blade to harm others, but through the trials of their adventure, he gradually confronts his inner demons and reveals a swordsmanship of breathtaking skill—always standing by Tenka's side with an unwavering sense of duty.
