Oniyasha

Set during the turbulent Muromachi period of Northern and Southern Court conflict, Oniyasha is the successor of the Kanze troupe. Initially harboring deep doubts about the purpose of performance, the young artist questions why people dance at all and often skips practice out of frustration. This listless state changes after a chance encounter with a truly captivating dance, which sparks an intense curiosity and a desire to understand the art form. While Oniyasha can be somewhat absent-minded and often drags companions into chaotic situations when chasing a sudden interest, this path of discovery leads to confronting personal weaknesses and actively seeking to shape a new style of dance in an ever-changing world.
