Always getting told 'you're so old and still watching cartoons,' how do you guys deal with it?
It's this old question again... but I get so angry every time I hear it.
I had dinner with some relatives last week, and when they saw my phone wallpaper was an anime character, they started in: "You're so old and still watching cartoons," "When are you going to grow up?," "Have you found a girlfriend yet?" (What does this have to do with watching anime???).
I'm 30 years old, have a full-time job, can afford my rent, and can afford to eat. But in some people's eyes, watching anime equals being immature.
How do you guys deal with it?
A) Explain that anime is not the same as cartoons
B) Ignore them and just be yourself
C) Retaliate: "Isn't you watching K-dramas the same thing?"
D) Directly change the subject
Or is there a better way?
