Always debating 'Anime vs. Manga' with others, what do you guys think?
I have two groups of people around me: one group thinks manga is the authentic experience and that anime adaptations are always changing things for the worse; the other group thinks anime is more impactful with the addition of voice acting, music, and animation.
I personally consume both, but if I had to choose... I lean towards anime because music and voice acting are very important to me. The Mugen Train arc in Demon Slayer would have been far less impactful without LiSA's songs.
However, my manga-purist friends say: "Go read the original Berserk and then talk." That actually makes sense too. What do you all think?
