Plot
Golden Kamuy returns for its fourth season, plunging deeper into the ruthless scramble for a legendary cache of Ainu gold hidden somewhere across the vast northern frontier. Tattooed ex-convicts, each holding a fragment of the treasure's secret, continue to guard their lives fiercely as multiple factions close in from every direction. The indestructible Saichi Sugimoto reunites with the sharp-witted Asirpa, and together they chart a new course after a period of separation. Yet the time apart has left its mark on Asirpa—her resolve has grown firmer, and her perspective on the gold and its meaning has quietly shifted. Elsewhere, Toshizou Hijikata's group presses forward with bold ambitions, while the calculating and fearsome Tokushirou Tsurumi commands his forces with iron will, though even he finds certain paths blocked without a key piece only Asirpa can provide. With every faction holding unique strengths, the deadly game of pursuit and survival intensifies across the frozen north.
