The popular light novel "Wolf and Spice" published by KADOKAWA Dengeki Bunko celebrated the 15th anniversary of the series in 2021 and won the Silver Award at the 12th Dengeki Novel Awards.
To commemorate this celebration, the new TV animation "The Wolf and the Spice Merchant Meet the Wise Wolf" will premiere on channels such as Teletext at 25:30 on Monday, April 1, 2024.

The advance scene cut and synopsis of episode 23, "The Disaster Setup and the Reward You Deserve", have been released.
In the story, Enberg demands the return of poisoned wheat flour from the village of Tereo, triggering an attack that may have been planned by Enberg.
He attempts to renege on his contract with the village, and Lawrence may be held responsible for protecting the village.
So, Lawrence, Elsa and Evan, who were also in trouble, decided to escape with the help of Holo.

The story revolves around Craft Lawrence, a young vendor, and his partner Holo, a horse pulling a carriage, as they sell goods from town to town.
One day, they came to a village with golden wheat fields and met a beautiful girl with wolf ears and tail. She called herself "Wise Wolf" and was the incarnation of the fertility wolf.
After learning that she wanted to return to her home in the far north, the Joiz Forest, Lawrence and Holo decided to take her on a journey north together.
However, this journey is full of unexpected vicissitudes...
