The trailer for Season 2 of "The Bad Thoughts Inside Me" is released!!!
The series released a new trailer on its official X account, showing off the romantic relationship between protagonists Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada. Despite their different social statuses, the two high school students develop a strong bond. TV Asahi will start broadcasting the second season in late night in January 2024.
The core team from season one will return to work on the next installment of the series. Hiroaki Akagi will return to direct the second season, as will Touki Hanada and Seito Katsumata , serving as series composition writer and character designer respectively. Kensuke Ushio will return to compose the series' music. Shinei Animation has also confirmed that Shun Horie and Hiyomiya Hina will return to their roles as Kyotaro and Anna, respectively.

The "Bad Thoughts in My Heart" series began with Noriaki Sakurai's manga series of the same name, which was launched in Akita Shoten's "Weekly Shonen Champion" magazine in March 2018. Sakurai is currently releasing new chapters through manga distribution website Manga Cross. The series currently includes eight single volumes and has sold more than three million copies worldwide as of September 2023.
