Oichi

Oichi is the tsukumogami (tool spirit) of an Ichimatsu doll with a history spanning over a hundred years. Having passed through the hands of many owners over her long existence, she possesses powerful spiritual energy that once terrified numerous priests and monks, and she can freely manipulate her long black hair to bind and restrain evil spirits. Initially brought to Kamui's office as a cursed doll that "always returns no matter how many times she is thrown away," she tried to terrify him, only to have her accumulated grudges purified through Kamui's unique exorcism. Falling deeply in love with him in the process, she settles in his office as his second assistant alongside the high school girl Shizuka. Although she speaks with a Kyoto dialect and can be sharp-tongued or bicker with Shizuka, she is fundamentally kind-hearted and serves as a reliable ally during exorcisms.
