DIY LED Display Cabinet Modification Tutorial — Figure Display Upgrade
I was using an IKEA Detolf display cabinet, and after adding LEDs, the effect improved tenfold. Sharing the tutorial:
【Materials】
- LED light strip (warm white, $50-100)
- 3M double-sided tape
- Light-shielding aluminum corner profile (optional)
- USB power adapter
【Steps】
1. Clean the inner walls of the cabinet
2. Stick the light strip to the front edge of the top of each shelf
3. Route the wires along the corner to the top of the cabinet
4. Connect to USB power
The whole process takes half an hour to finish, and the effect is instantly upgraded. If you're interested, I can post Part 2 to cover mirror bases and background boards.
