Is anyone else like me, buying manga but never actually reading it?

I have a bad habit... every time I go to Sino Centre or see manga I want to read online, I buy it, but once I get home, I just put it on the bookshelf, and then... that's it. Right now, the unread manga on my shelf include at least: - Dorohedoro complete set — bought it because people recommended it, haven't even unwrapped it yet - 20th Century Boys — bought it three years ago - Real — waiting until I have the full set to read it (and I've been waiting for years) - Naoki Urasawa's Short Stories Altogether there are about fifty or so books... is there anyone else who shares this habit of "collecting manga rather than reading it"?

You should watch Dorohedoro soon! It's really amazing! The dark fantasy world-building is one of a kind. It would be such a waste not to watch it.

Same here! I've had a complete set of "NANA" sitting on my bookshelf for five years and still haven't finished reading it. Every time I think about taking it out to read, I get distracted by something new.

It's the same for me with light novels... I have rows of unopened novels on my bookshelf. I buy them whenever I see a new release, but my reading speed can never keep up with my buying speed.

Are you calling me? 😂 I have so many comics at home that I've rented a mini-storage unit... but at least a third of them haven't been read yet. "Buying" and "reading" are two completely independent activities.
