📦Product description

The Isuzu Barrett 1600GT was released in 1964 and competed with the Skyline for the seat of "Japan's first GT". The European-style design and advanced mechanical structures such as four-wheel independent suspension aroused heated discussions. It was called "Bailey G" by car enthusiasts at the time and was highly respected. In '69, the most powerful version of the 1600GTR (also known as GT type R depending on the year) was equipped with the G161 DOHC engine used in the previously released 117 coupe. As a symbol of 1960s culture, it is still enthusiastically supported by fans.

TLV started manufacturing Bailey G in 2013. The GT type R is characterized by the front face that was the last type after 1971. It is also characterized by the orange metallic body color that was set in the last period.
