📦Product description

Released in 1964, the Isuzu Barrett 1600GT competes with the Skyline for the title of "Japan's first GT". The European-style design and advanced mechanisms such as four-wheel independent suspension aroused heated discussions, and it was respectfully called "Bailey G" by car enthusiasts at the time. By 1969, the most powerful version of the 1600GTR (maybe GT type R depending on the year) was equipped with the G161 DOHC engine used in the previously released 117 coupe. As a symbol of the culture of the 1960s, it is still supported by enthusiastic fans.

TLV started manufacturing Bailey G in 2013. This time we will launch new colors of the latest GT type R, as well as new specifications of the 1800GT added in 1970. The 1800GT has the same appearance as the GTR, with a hood with air ducts. This time we opted for the standard white body.
The roof antenna that symbolizes the Bailey G can also be replicated via user-installed parts. Please collect prototypes of GT celebrating its 60th anniversary.
