The Isuzu BU type is a route bus series that emerged with high economic growth to cope with the increase in transportation capacity. After a minor facelift in 1972, the 4.8m wheelbase model was given the BU04 model, and there are many Kokusai Kogyo's route networks active in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture.
The No. 3491 car to be modeled this time is a 1980 car at the end of the model life cycle. It was operated mainly at the Akabane Sales Office. After Kokusai Kogyo retired, it was transferred to Iwate Prefectural Transportation and remained active until 2005. It was later preserved for a long time by TOMYTEC Co., Ltd., and in 2023, it was returned to International Industrial Development and underwent large-scale restoration. In February 2024, it will be resurrected as a business number car in the Reiwa era.

To commemorate the resurrection of car No. 3491, TLV-NEO’s Isuzu BU04 model will launch new specifications that have not been seen for a long time. Based on Hyundai's revived image, it has also been updated as a subcompact car.
When the actual vehicle was returned to public roads, an exhaust gas purification device (DPF) was installed in order to comply with the diesel vehicle regulations of Badu Prefecture and City in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, and it was also reproduced with new parts in TLV-NEO. The body color is a realistic color based on the paint used during restoration of the actual car. Also note the more detailed reproduction of the coloring inside and outside the car.
