In 1990, the fifth-generation KS/KV type SUBARU SAMBAR responded to the new specifications of light vehicles and expanded its displacement to 660cc. The "Dias Classic" featuring retro design appeared in 1993 as an addition to the van's premium class "Dias". It became the introduction to the retro light-car craze of the late 1990s that also included other companies. Its warm appearance was very popular, and it can still be seen being used in places such as mobile sales vehicles.

In the TLV-NEO series, we commercialized SAMBAR Dias Classic (sold separately) in 2021, which has received very good reviews. There are also new specifications emerging this time. The N249e will be available in the green/cream two-tone color scheme added in 1996. Although it is a small model with a total length of about 6cm, the sliding door on the passenger side can be opened and closed, which expands the scope of play.
