The world-building of Mobile Suit Gundam UC (Universal Century) spans several decades of works, from the original series to UC, to Hathaway... it's just too grand.
The oil weathering step is super effective! The Barbatos already has that battle-damaged feel, and adding the weathering effect makes it look even more realistic.
Gundam's situation is quite unique—the anime came out first, and the manga is actually a derivative work. The THE ORIGIN manga version added a lot of details that weren't in the anime.
BONES' new robot anime is my top priority! I've been waiting for so long for a new robot anime.
