"KAIYODO ART PROJECT" allows everyone to appreciate the artist's works up close in the form of models. From the popular work "ANIMALS" by sculptor Atsuhiko Misawa, the lion, which has been used as the main visual in many art exhibitions, was selected and released as a finished soft plastic model.
The original work is a life-size wooden statue carved from a block of nanmu. The majestic and majestic posture of the upright body and the unique Deformed style of softness make people feel friendly. In the basic modeling stage of the model, Misawa and Kaiyodo prototype designers confirmed the shape and made it at the same time. It is not a direct copy of the original work, but an appropriate adjustment based on the size of the model with a total height of about 16 centimeters based on the visual experience when viewed with the naked eye. From the overall balance to the lines of the mane and the traces of wood carving, it was all completed under Misawa's supervision. .
